  • Portion of Spaulding Turnpike in Dover will be single lane during bridge repairs

    The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night bridge repairs are scheduled on the Spaulding Turnpike northbound bridge over NH Route 108 and an abandoned railroad line in Dover.

    These bridge joint repairs will take place on the night of Thursday, July 21, 2016, beginning at 10 p.m. and concluding at 6 a.m. on Friday, July 22. During these work hours, the Spaulding Turnpike northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from mile marker 8.4 to mile marker 9.4. The Exit 7 northbound on-ramp will also be closed for up to eight hours.

  • Tri-City Coalition meets July 21 in Dover

    The Tri-City Coalition will meet on Thursday, July 21, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in Council Chambers at Dover City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.

    The Tri-City Coalition consists of the mayors and two city councilors from Dover, Somersworth and Rochester. The coalition aims to foster dialogue, exploration and implementation of joint policies and programs that benefit the three communities.
