posted on: 08/27/2014
The Cochecho Waterfront Development Advisory Committee will host a community forum about the future of the City’s waterfront property on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at 6 p.m. The forum will be held in Room 305 at the McConnell Center, 61 Locust St.
Committee members encourage Dover residents to attend the forum and help shape the future of the waterfront along the Cocheco River. The committee is seeking feedback and ideas from Dover residents about the redevelopment and use of the public waterfront parcel over the next five to 10 years.
- New Dover fountain bubbles with community pride

A new fountain donated by City Councilor Anthony McManus is now active, a soothing addition to the Joe B. Parks Riverwalk and Public Gardens. The fountain was installed in the Cocheco River, directly adjacent to the public gardens and Central Avenue bridge.
During the fountain’s inaugural run, McManus said his donation was buoyed by the support of neighboring business and property owners and the City of Dover’s Community Services Department.
